Letter from the Trustee
This month, we interviewed Tim Jorstad, the Trust's Chief Financial Officer, to discuss the 2022 Annual Report. As a public document, filed with the Bankruptcy Court and published on the Trust's public website, the report holds the Trust accountable for its stewardship of the assets that are held on behalf of fire survivors.
Because many claims we process include claims for personal injury and/or emotional distress caused by the Fires, it is important to understand the process by which claimants may be required to repay healthcare insurers.
